We talk about the massive outpouring of support at the Occupy Oakland General Strike including how the lack of police presence DIDN'T HURL IT INTO CHAOS! All of the PUBLIC SPACES and local businesses. We talked about how the open local businesses were operating on cash only. Also how the movement has DRASTICALLY changed the conversation in our country about wealth. We talk about how this is going LONG into the night. The big question is: where do we go from here? She mentions how people are talking about PAVING the plaza and wiring it with electricity. Isn't it great that occupations are investing in infrastructure while our government ISN'T INVESTING IN INFRASTRUCTURE! She mentions that they're building a SECOND library because the first one is too full!
