The Rick Smith Show is sponsoring an essay contest for the children and grandchildren of all union members. There will be 3 First Place winners of $100, 3 Second Place winners of $50 and 3 Third Place winners of $25. The Rick Smith Show is promoting family unionism. The question of, “How has the Union helped your family?” is a very important one for kids to be able to answer. All winners will have their entries read on air Labor Day Weekend 2008. So join in the fun.

A winner will be chosen from each of three categories Grades 1-4, 

Grades 5-8, Grades 9-12.

 

 

 

Rules:

 

* All Entries must be in by August 22, 2008 to be considered. Sorry no exceptions Winners will be announced on August 30th and 31s, 2008.

* All Entrants must be the children or grandchildren of Union Members to qualify.

 

* All entries must have Parents first and last name and Union name and Union phone

number.

* All entries must have the childs first name and grade level. 

 

* All entries must be at least 50 words but no longer than 500 words. Preferably typed by not required.

 

All Prize money will be paid to the union parent in care of the entrant.

 

* The Rick Smith Show has the right to read all entrances on the air and post on

www.thericksmithshow.com all entrances, without names, to be viewed by

our listeners.

 

* Judging will be conducted by members of The Rick Smith Show Staff.
