(RSN) Carlisle, PA On Saturday January 5, 2008 The Rick Smith Show expanded adding a second 2 hour show. Central Pennsylvania listeners can now tune in both Saturdays  and Sundays noon-2pm. Internet listeners can also download the show from www.TheRickSmithShow.com . The shows expanding to a second came as a result of overwhelming demand from listeners and callers requesting more of what the Rick Smith Show does best: Take on the right wing propaganda machine with truth, commonsense and collective action. When asked about the expansion the shows host Rick Smith said, “the station expressed a desire to expand the program because of an overwhelmingly positive response from listeners.” He continued by saying, “we are seeing an amazing change happening. The Rick Smith Show has been on the forefront of that change and we will continue to tackle the issues that face we the working class and our families.” We asked Rick his hopes for the New Year. “I want to see working people come together and take back our government by electing representatives that will stand up for working families in the face of powerful corporate special interests. I think this is the year we turn the corner toward a fairer, more equitable society. This is going to be a great year. We are witnessing an amazing time in history. This election will either be that moment where we as a society seek a more egalitarian society or we fall completely into a feudal state.
